Malluf Consulting Services was contracted to substantially modify and upgrade their Clinical Trials management software known as TrialBase. We also Implemented a customization of Ultimate Survey that integrated their TrialWeb software with Ultimate Survey.
Malluf Consulting Services was contracted to architect and implement an enterprise wide solution for managing HIPAA EDI transactions using the Microsoft Net 2.0 platform, Sql-Server 2005, Microsoft Team System, IBM Websphere MQ and other technologies.
Malluf Consulting Services was initially contracted to help implement the conversion of their highly successful online retail operations from Microsoft's classic ASP platform to the newer and more powerful ASP.Net 1.1 platform.
Malluf Consulting Services was Contracted a second time to implement an Administrative application for their new Health Care Products knowledge engine. The application was developed using the Microsoft's Net 2.0 platform, Vb.Net, Sql-Server 2005, and IMB's WebShere MQ.
Malluf Consulting Services was originally contracted to rescue a failed enterprise wide sales team management system based on Microsoft's classic ASP platform. We were able to quickly correct most of the issues with the application and get them operational. Over the years we made several enhancements to the application for Preventive Pest Control and even moved some portions of the application to ASP.Net.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA)
responsibility is the administration and management of 55.7 million
acres of land held in trust by the United States for American Indians,
Indian tribes, and Alaska Natives. There are 561 federal recognized
tribal governments in the United States. Developing forestlands, leasing
assets on these lands, directing agricultural programs, protecting water
and land rights, developing and maintaining infrastructure and economic
development are all part of the agency's responsibility. In addition,
the Bureau of Indian Affairs provides education services to
approximately 48,000 Indian students.
Malluf Consulting Services was contracted several times with the BIA for
different projects. Among them where:
- Tribal Demographic Information System. (TDIS) This was a Microsoft VB6/Sql-Server 2000 project that replaced the functionality of the People System a Bureau wide application that maintained accurate current and historical demographics on all of the native peoples that the BIA was responsible for.
- Trust Assets Accounting Management System. (TAAMS). Malluf Consulting services was contracted participate as part of the team that created the RFP for the proposed TAAMS project. As part of this responsibility we where charged with performing an agency wide Business Process Analysis of the then current Trust Assets accounting systems. We completed PBA process using CA's BP/Win product.
- Data Czar. Ibrahim Malluf was appointed the Data Czar of the
BIA's Trust Funds Management data assets as the chief overseer of
the conversion of the bureau's legacy data into more modern and
reliable data stores.

Malluf Consulting Services helped Fresco's move into the world of PC based data operations by mentoring them in the use Microsoft's Access RDBMS. Later on we helped them transition into the world of Internet catalog sales helping them to install and configure their Windows Server based network. We helped them build their ASP based catalog site and helped them transition to SQL-Server as their underlying data store.
